Several of the external computer control programs including N4PY allow you to control those functions with a mouse if you have a computer at the operating position. Maybe TT can allow the RF gain function to be controlled by the external 302 encoder. Maybe it already does...I'm not near my radio right now, but I'll check when I get home today.

If you are to operate "riding" the RF gain control, then why is there
not a knob dedicated to this function only? Or why can't I reassign my
basically redundant and useless Hi Cut/ Lo Cut knob to be the RF Gain? I
don't like the "multi" knob for a function I need to use constantly.
Always having to "recall" it to RF Gain after I try the NR or NB or
Notch.
