If I remember correctly from the last time I spoke with Scott, the sweep
upgrade is for the Orion II only, is a hardware plug-in, and the display
occupies the same space as the current sweep, but with much finer
resolution. No, it does not require an additional processor - it runs on
the existing one, which, as you may recall, is higher performance than the
original Orion. I don't think anyone in authority has spoken about an
outboard display or anything like that. This option has been a long time
coming for the O2 owners. Hope this helps.
