Mike you mention that you won't have the luxurie of running a balanced tuner at 
your new QTH. 

I do not understand.

A balanced feed will always have the lowest losses, regardless what antenna you 
hang at the end. You can even hang a vertical at the end through a wideband 
balun. IMHO that would be the straightforward solution.

If you are "unable" to run a balanced feeder to the antenna then you may want 
to take a look at twincom, it can be laid like coax but it is balanced and not 
influenced by surrounding materials.
