Actually the facts are these...
 
I did not have lightning damage... the TT cust serv suggested that as an answer 
but it was
 
not the case.  I merely asked for suggestions if the problem I had was typical 
and thus they may
 
have a standard fix already in mind, or for other suggestions.  The response 
was a single 
 
sentence of no help and no promise of further investigation. I did not expect 
so little, but
 
would even  have taken a "we can not afford to answer questions about this 
product anymore"
 
if company and market forces had come to that.  I do not expect magic.
 
But the answer  was so simplistic and mis directed and BRIEF to be vy 
disappointing.  And, I was
 
working with a unit that had just returned from factory repair and had the same 
problem.
 
Where I may live is not a factor when making a simple query by email ..to be 
answered by cheap
 
email.  BTW, I really  like my ORION one.  Thanks for the chance to set this 
little record straight.
