I believe I was told also. That the transverter's where no longer made . 
Becouse of part prices. Some of the transisters went up so high.
This was what I was told. I would hope some time TT. Gets away around this. 
I am broker than broke right now. (medical bills and 4 young Kids more 
importain than radio :-( ..) But I would like to have a 2 meter and 6 meter 
transverter. At some point to run behind my Pegasus.

As fair as 220 goes. I have to say I am one of those. That has never used 
it. And if I had the money for new radio's right now. It would not be a 
220..
