Has anyone used a Heil HC-5 headset element with this box ? If so,
where do I put the jumpers for Jumpers 5, 6 - the ones that are for the
mike input and mike ground. The mike plug on the Heil headset is a
monaural 3.5 mm plug. The headset does not have a PTT line so I can
supply that with my hand switch or foot switch. Also has anyone used
the box with an OMNI V, or any of the Ten-Tec 4 prong mike plugs? The
OMNI V has a 4 pin mike jack and realize I will have to re-wire the 8
pin plug that is on the cable that comes with the box to a 4 pin plug.
I am also aware that the directions in the book are scrambled in some
places.

My radio 2 is a Yaesu FT-450 and I assume I can used the jumpers for the
Modular Microphone setup for the FT-817, 857, 897, as shown in the book.

Any help and/or suggestions would be appreciated - I spoke to MFJ
technical support and they were not much help.

Donald, K6RV
