Hi campers... got a 580 used last year, it developed some issues,
sent off to TenTec service, they called and said it had a number
of issues, cost 3-400 dollars to fix, didn't think it would be
worth it. I agreed, thanked them for call, and they are
returning rig to me...
have two questions, as the 580 is a junker..
a) in the i.f. scheme of 580 and 560, would the 8 pole crystal
filter from the Delta work to replace the 4 pole filter on the
noise blanker board of the Corsair?
b) want to sell the outboard vfo for the Delta and the 500 hz cw
filter... what have they been going for?
a third..... anybody want a 580 complete except for the crystal
filters? make offer. the case/panel are clean.
