Good afternoon, Doug:
I had to do lubrication to my MFJ 289B roller inductor........It turned out 
successful.
I learned a lot about the MFJ tuner and felt I would do better with the T-T 
229 after speaking with the factory........The 229 unit is an older one that 
has the better roller inductor then the newer ones.
Opening up the tuner and inspection proved that I got the better deal and it 
works perfectly.
I'm glad I sold the 289B, It worked good as well, but 
technically/physicially the 229 is a better unit
for me.
