John: I have both in my OII, but the 300 Hz is the one I use the most. In
the contest this past weekend, I found myself running the DSP at 200 Hz
under the 300 Hz filter. I can hear the difference when I change BW from
300 Hz using the 300 Hz filter and 310, which forces the 600 Hz filter. If
you contest a lot, the 300 Hz filter is worth the investment.
