I tried it tonight and it is working. When will it fail again, is the 
question now. Can't fix it when it isn't broke, so I guess I'll just 
have a QSO or two.
The 1200 baud interface to the computer makes a noise that it never made 
with the Omni VI. Same computer, same port, same cable, all the same 
grounding connections. The only thing changed is the baud rate, and I 
can still hear the noise if I set the logging program back to 4800, 
which is what I was using with the Omni VI. 4800 baud won't work with 
the Paragon, but the noise is there.
