I've had my Omni VII for almost a year now and use it on 6 meters when 
the band open..it does a great job...only drawback is the internal tuner 
only goes to 10 meters. This isn't a big deal for me but it may be a 
issue for others. I operate with the Omni VII barefoot (100 Watts) into 
a 4 element beam up abound 50 feet...have lots of fun.
