[TenTec] Pegasus and 64bit vista

I am having trouble connecting Pegasus with 64 bit Vista.  Purchased  
Ten Tec USB to 9 pin port on Pegasus.  Vista would not recognize either 
pl driver on CD or freshly downloaded pl-l2303, reportedly developed for 
this problem. When driver opens the downloaded file,  it simply 
replicates itself in documents file and  no GUI appears.  Cannot find 
GUI anywhere.  Anyone else have this problem?  Hope someone has a  
cure.   Thanks
