Hi Gary, I cannot get the 715 to match the MKV, turned off all the EDSP on
TX etc,
and thru the MKV Moni , sounds terrible, on air reports, were it sounded
hollow and raspy sharp etc,
when i swapped over the MH-31 standard mic, they all said it was like I had
turned on a HF RF Amp,
so maybe my voice response coupled with the 715, doesn't suit,
I will keep testing, I have ran out of menu options in the MKV to turn
ON/OFF ahhaha
I appreciate your time to reply
Rgds
Dennis

I'm using a new Heil Quiet Phone Pro with the Heil HC-5 mic and TT 715 to
a
OMNI VI+ . They have punched through a number of pile-ups while the Titan
425 was either off or on standby. Audio reports are "very punchy, lots of
highs, and good for pile-up busting or contests". The TT-715 when adjusted
properly does take the HC-5 from casual to aggressive audio.

Hi , has anyone tried the TT 715 unit, using a HEIL HC-5 cartridge ?
I couldn't seem to get clear clean audio from a MKV using that setup, TX
audio sounded thin and raspy, No precessor on in Rig, and NO TX EDSP etc
switched on
any comments appreciated
