Yes, I think I read some time back that in some cases you need extra shielding either in the mic input or the case. My setup is identical to yours, ....moved it to the left side and hum on the audio. Right side...none.

Hi,
Anyone know of a shielding workaround to place a 961 power supply on the left side of the rig? IE: eliminate hum on the audio.

Using a well shielded heil mic into a 715 processor, and a TT supplied cable to rig.
