And I have experienced the opposite - prolific chipsets give problems in
many cases and the FTDI chipsets work better.
So....whatever.
Last time I offered advice I was told it was rude, so many I should just
shut up. LOL

P.S. Yes...its time we moved beyond serial ports to (at least) USB, and
IMHO, better still to Ethernet.
