Well after loading Version 2.063Gx I went back to firmware 1.373b5. After
another RAM CLEAR and MASTER RESET guess what.

The MON now works as designed?

I have no idea what happened BUT I'm happy the rig is back to normal and
running
my favourite firmware!

Thanks for the reply Carl.

Well it works MUCH better with Version 2 of the firmware. So you may well be
right. I loaded Version 2.063Xg and did a RAM CLEAR and followed that with a
Master Reset and it seems to function quite nicely with the SP OFF!

Others seem to NOT have the same problem running 1.373b5 that I do? So I guess
I'll live with it and just wait until the next new and improved version 2.xxx
hits the Ten-Tec site.

Again, thanks for the reply.

Rick,

What happens with version 2 Orion firmware? I think the entire path for
monitor is in the firmware. This could be a bug back in 1.373b5.
