Hi Guys,
Just a word of warning about carbon tet. I worked in the auto industry for 36 years as a tech for a Cadillac dealer and we used carbon tet for years to wash brakes and many other things, The bottom line is that it is absorbed thru the skin and does affect the nervious system. I and many other guys I worked with can testify to that. If I were you I would not use it at all or at least use latex gloves or something. One of the other names for it when used in the old fire extinguishers was PYRENE.
I hope this is of some help.

Dave,

carbon tetrachloride.)

Great for cleaning brake parts, as well as preserving the frog.

Still have a bottle from my granddads stash, has to be 50+ years old.
