I have the 4-pole filter that came out of my Corsair when I replaced it
with a 8-pole one. It is 9 MHz, has 4 crystals and 5 caps. The PC
board is marked "6840" (had to use a magnifying glass to read the 6).
One of the crystals is stamped "8235", which may really be a lot code or
date code.

I'll take a wild guess that it's the 4-pole 2.4Khz filter as used in the Corsair I (and probably other 80's xcvrs) 73, Barry N1EU On Sun, Feb 27, 2011 at 7:45 PM, Bill Dobson<n3wd@n3wd.com> wrote:I have come across a filter that I need some help identifying. It is a 4 crystal filter with 8122 on the top and the bottom has I believe M 8840. Any help would be appreciated.
