Carl
thanks for the info. I was trying to ring out the Pegasus to make sure it
basically worked ok.Iam using the same box I run with the 2 flex radios. It
does not have a serial port. Iam using a usb to serial adpt I bought
yesterday,no matter what data rates or com port settings the rig and software
won't talk to each other. I don't see the problem going away by downloading
your software,or is my thinking wrong?
There seems to be a hardware software problem here. Would I be better off
going to a PCI serial card ? I will down load your software tomarrow, and see
what happens. Any suggestions on how to get the current setup to run. Man ,I
feel like I did 6 years ago the first time I set up my old SDR-1000.
thanks for the help

First, you can download my N4PY sofwtare and run it on a 10 day free
trial. Just go to my website at www.n4py.com and then go to the Pegasus
Downlaod page under the "More" Menu. Download n4py319M.exe.
The baud rate is fixed at 57600 and both the Tentec program and N4PY set
this up. The only setting you need to make is for the correct comport
number.

cable, which on the device controller says its in place and working fine and is
set on com 3. I went into the TT software and changed from com1 to com3 .
turned
on the Pegasus and started the software the two could not communicate with each
other. tried all 6 different com port settings ,nothing changes. re loaded the
TT software ,no change. What about the Baud rate and priority stuff, make a
difference? could find no where the TT requirements for rates etc.

that... I will buy the N4PY software as soon as I make sure the basic Pegasus
is
working ok. But need to get it up and on line with what I have.
