One of my neighbors is using a relatively slow (6 MHz) single core with 1 
GHZ Ram, five or six years old computer.... PowerSDR does not require a lot 
of computer horsepower by itself.

Yes, but aren't many folks going to need a computer upgrade to
efficiently run PowerSDR if they have older single core cpu's?
