Jerry, many times an intermittent in any radio can be traced to bad solder joints, socket corrosion, or bad contacts on interconnection cables. If nay of those are in this model, you might simply check and correct those issues and fix your problem. I don't remember if the Corsair used sockets or not, but solder might be an issue after this much time depending on the radio's travel history.
