Hi Duane:

Yes.. another good reason.  Of course, there are hams who, for their  
own reasons, do not wish to be a member.  I think that's a shame, but  
it is -their- choice, and I respect that.  I think that articles  
older than 5 years might be able to be viewed by non-members, but I'm  
not 100% sure of that.

And most certainly, everything published by the ARRL, be it via paper  
in QST, or a book, or on line -is- copyrighted.  Depending on what  
you want to do with the material, I think it's possible to get  
permission to copy it, but you have to contact them for the  
permission.  ALL rights reserved, etc.  :)
