Good on ya, Mike! I was somehow confusing my old Argosy with the Scout. Try it 
on the Scout- it might work, since it lacks the aforementioned switch! Thanks 
for catching my failing memory (AKA blonde moment).

Or you could just push the "DISPlay ON/off" button on the 525 Argosy II's front 
panel? That switch has a set of unused contacts which some use to switch the 
meter lamp on and off.
