The Argonaut V under the same conditions was somewhat higher.

Argonaut V   5.6A     5.1 hrs.

I did the following radios:

OHR 100A
Century 22
Argonaut 515, pilot lamps on and off
Argonaut V
Argosy
Argosy II, display on and off
Triton IV  (this is a sleeper :-)
Corsair II
Omni D "C Series"
Jupiter
Paragon
Omni VI

I tested at 2, 5, 20 50 and 100 watts as available.  Knowing the performance 
parameters, I 
calculate CW and SSB average current, CW and SSB amps per watt, and CW and SSB 
run 
time.  One can vary the transmit duty cycle and battery amp hours capacity.  
You can change 
the depth of discharge simply by reducing the battery A/H  input as desired.  
For example, to 
figure 50% discharge run time, enter the battery capacity divided by 2.   I 
have the results in 
spread sheet form and can e-mail if anyone wants.  Let me know.  It's 
interesting to play 
around and see what run time you can get on battery power in a pinch.
