Thanks for the reply. I wondered if 35khz was a lot, thats why I mention
it.
I read one account where someone did this and it was about 27khz off. I
tested again and it seems about 29 khz off on at 7.100.
I'm hoping I didn't screw something up during the rebuild. It wasn't off
that much before, it seemed like about 2khz.
I am almost certain I have everything mechanically aligned. I turned the
PTO full CCW, released the idler gear and aligned the dial perfectly with
the last tick mark on the scale. When I run it full CW, it aligns perfectly
at the other end of the dial too. I can follow instructions, but there
weren't any for this part so I just did what seemed obvious. This wouldn't
be the first time I've guessed wrong.
Should I just try to correct the dial to a known frequency instead? I am a
little worried this slug wont budge even if I find the correct tool.
