Not true. The mic gain is ahead of the AGC setting, so as long as the
mic input does not overload, it will be fine.
Ah, yes... mostly, but a close talking mic works best
close up (they are designed to be used about 1/2
inch from the side of the mouth.)
This is NOT a noise-cancelling mic, and the 2-3 inch distance is better..
