Steve,

Your did not mention if you poked the reset button. That is my favorite first step with my Delta II.

Hi Folks,

I lost phone transmit on my Delta II, probably due to 'operator error', as in I screwed up and possibly got 4v from the PTT into the mic line. Still works fine on CW & goes into Tune from phone, so I am assuming the control board is OK. I'm thinking I fried the op-amp at the mic input to the TX Audio board. Wadday think? Am I on the right track?

Anybody got a junker laying around that they want to get rid of? There are a few other minor problems that are annoying but not earth shattering, so having a donor rig would be nice.

My hands started shaking about a year ago and soldering in a new chip might be a problem, so If I can throw good boards at it that would be nice, assuming I can afford 'em. They diagnosed the shakes as Parkinson's and I'm off work right now. I'm an electrician, and having the shakes could turn me into a crispy critter. (Not my idea of a good time....)

Anybody know if James Bond needs a bartender? I could do his Martini up right...

Thanks

Steve Weber KD9BO
