The Delta II has an Icom CIV interface in it. So it takes an Icom
logging program to work with it. You must know the CIV address of the
Delta II and the correct baud rate to hook it up. There are CIV-to USB
converters available with an internet search that will allow you to hook
it up to your computer.
I just searched the internet and the baud rate is 1200 baud and the CIV
address is 40h. My N4PY Icom program should work with this.

Steve,
Tank you for bringing this up. A couple of months ago teher was a thread
here about the right cable - I immediately picked up one cable and then
was
distracted. I haven't the foggiest idea but will be anxious to see the
answers too.

Subject: [TenTec] Delta II rig control information
Hi Has anyone out there connected the Delta II to a computer for logger
and rig control use?
I remember reading somewhere that the settings for an ICOM something or
other work with this rig. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've never done this with any rig, so please be gentle - It's my first
time...
