I agree with Jack. I've been on this reflector for several years, and have
deleted literally hundreds of complaints about software updates. During that
time, I have been able to log thousands of contacts, many with new ones, & both
my Orion II & Omni VII work very well indeed. Maybe I should spend less time on
the air and more time looking for shortcomings in the finest gear I have ever
owned. I haven't even updated to the latest software yet, and son -of=a=gun, I
have been able to work D64K on 7 bands & 2 modes. Somehow I think the rig's
fine. It beats my old Heath Mohawk, HQ-170, Kenwood twins & 930, etc.
I guess I'm too easy to please

with my O2 I feel blessed to be able to own the best radio I have had in 35
plus years on air. Sri ur monitor doesn't read perfectly centered on LSB.
I've never noticed.

I wonder who else is getting tired hearing about new products when Ten Tec
still hasn't finished the simple things on their old products. John Henry
told me at the Orlando Hamcation that it was an easy fix to correct the
display offset problem for LSB on the Orion 2. Wow! That was 6 months ago
and it still isn't fixed. Unbelievable.
I'd love to consider another TT product but putting up with this lack of
support is very, very frustrating.
Anyone else feel this way?
