Don, you are correct. I added the 17 meter crystal and the transmitted
"spur" was about two watts, key up. Spoke with then technician Garland
Jenkins about fixing it. He suggested if I wanted to work 17 meters I get a
different rig.
I've owned many Ten-Tec rigs but the latest models were the Corsair II and
the 580 Delta. They are all great rigs. I prefer the 544 and the 546 Omni-C.
My Omni-C sits on my operating desk... it sounds best to my ears.
