As I stated earlier, I'm not available this Sunday to handle the net
duties for John, K3UR. I'm one of those lucky fellows that still works
and I work a retail job that goes on 7 days-a-week. This just happens
NOT
to be my Sunday off or weekend off.
I'm sure John will ask someone else or better yet one of the fellows that
has been assisting with the net will step up to the plate and handle the
chore.
I respect John's preference not to use this weekend for the certificate
program. He's got that well under control and well managed. It is
something that doesn't need to be tampered with nor errors made.
SO, A NET CONTROL IS NEEDED THIS SUNDAY FOR THE 40M AND 20M NETS.

I will be out of town on an emergency call this weekend and will not be
conducting the TEN-TEC 40 meter and 20 meter SSB nets this Sunday March
3rd.
Because of all of the Data Base work involved and to be fair to
everyone,
the TEN-TEC Certificate Program will be suspended for this Sunday March
3rd
and will resume next Sunday March 10th when I return.
I just checked my Data Base and there are 9 people who need just 1 more
checkin and 10 other people who need just 2 more checkins, to qualify
for
the TEN-TEC 10 Checkin Certificate. Please be patient until March 10th
and
it will be my pleasure to help all of these 19 to reach their goal.
In order to keep the TEN-TEC nets active in my absence this weekend, I
am
asking Bob K4TAX to conduct both nets this Sunday March 3rd. Remember
that
your checkins will not count towards the TEN-TEC Certificate Program
this
Sunday March 3rd.
When I return next Sunday March 10th, the TEN-TEC Certificate Program
will
be resumed. Thank you for your understanding and please support Bob
K4TAX
with both nets this weekend.
