For that cost, I am considering a trip back to Sevierville after a 4-year
hiatis. My XYL and I can enjoy most of a week in that wonderful area (great art
community as well as much more) and she blesses my need for a fix at the TT
homeland. Even did the factory tour with me last time down

I figured it would cost me about $500 to $600 for the trip and that presumes
I don't buy anything radio wise. That's just transportation, lodging and
meals. Therefore I decided to stay home, read about it in the trades, not
be concerned with the crowds and spend my $500 to $600 on a nice piece of
radio equipment.
Huntsville AL hamfest is next on my calendar, then a local hamfest, and then
the Tentec Hamfest in Sept. Those plus the three hamfests I've already
attended will be enough for one year.
