TenTec and related Items For Sale --
Power Supplies, HF linear amp, Speakers, Wattmeters,
Vibroplex Bug, CW Key, Connectors, and more For Sale:

TenTec Switching Power Supply:

"Switcher / 25" 25 amp switching power supply:
This is a 25 amp switching power supply in a case that
matches the early Omni series case, with the metal bezel
around it. It is in a case that is the same size as a 243
remote VFO. It has an ammeter on the front, along with
Switch, TenTec logo, and output bulb. The front panel
basically looks like a 280 power supply with a metal bezel,
but says "Switcher/25" on it. It is very quiet, and well
shielded, and does not produce any electrical noise that
I could find. $170

Astron RS-20A Power Supply:

The RS-20A is a DC Power Supply producing 13.8 V DC (internally
adjustable from 11 to 15 V DC) at up to 16 amps continuous and
20 amps ICS. The RS-20 features crowbar over voltage protection
and fold-back current limiting to protect your equipment.

This particular supply works fine, and looks very close to new.
There is one very small scratch that can be seen if the light
is just right, but is not normally visible.

With paper work for $60.

Amp Supply LK-550 Z A, HF Amplifier:

The LK-500 is an HF amp that runs a pair of 3-500 tubes, on
the 160 thru 10 meter bands, producing close to the legal
limit. On this amp, 30 watts of drive produces about 400
watts out of the amp; 50 watts gives about 650 Watts out;
etc.

For all practical purposes, this is a copy of the Heath SB-220.
The difference is that this amp has a MUCH heavier duty Peter
Dahl power transformer, and covers 160 meters. It has a
better tuned input matching circuit. It is a much superior
amplifier.

This particular amp works very well. It has a manual step
start circuit added, and the electrolytic capacitors have
been replaced. Cosmetically it looks very, very nice. I
can not find a scratch on it. It looks like new.

Since this is heavy, I would much prefer pickup in the
Ocala, FL area.

With paper work for $900, plus shipping if needed.

MFJ 815 B Cross Needle Peak Reading HF Wattmeter:

The MFJ-815B cross-needle meter allows you to monitor both
forward and reflected power, and SWR simultaneously. There
are buttons to select either Peak or Average reading and
power ranges of 200/2000 watts forward and 50/500 watts
reflected. Frequency coverage is 1.8 to 60 MHz, so it covers
6 meters in addition to the HF bands, making it ideal for
some of the new rigs that include 6 meters.
The peak reading function of this meter and meter light
require external 12 V DC.

This particular unit works fine, and looks very close to new.
With paper work for $65.

Daiwa CN-520 "Cross Needle" wattmeter:

This wattmeter covers 1.8 to 60 MHz, and is the "cross needle"
type, so it reads SWR at the same time it reads forward and
reflected power.

Forward scales of 2000 W or 200 W; reflected 400 W and 40 Watts.

This one looks very nice and works like new,
with the paperwork for $65.

Communications Speakers:

Realistic 21-549 A
This speaker is about 4 inches square and about 2 inches
deep. It is rated for 5 watts, has an 8 ohm impedance, and
is listed as a 300 to 3000 Hz frequency response, making it
ideal for communications. It has a 3.5 mm (1/8 inch) mono
plug, as used by most modern rigs. Gimbal mount included.
It is black in color, looks great, and sounds great. $15

Vanco SPB-5
Appears to be the same at above, but with a Vanco label.
Also includes gimbal mount. $15

Vibroplex "Original" Bug:

This Vibroplex "Original" bug was made in 1944 according
to the serial number on its plate, but it looks like it
was made only a couple months ago. It has the black
crinkle base that is immaculate. No wear marks, no paint
chips, no defects at all. This one is in its original box,
although the box shows its age, and has been partially
covered with tape. The finger piece does not look original
to me. It appears to be plexiglass, more like a Bencher
paddle. Of course replacements are available from Vibroplex
if you are so inclined. $140

Generic brass colored oval base key
This is similar to a J-38 (without the bakelite base),
but is a Japanese copy. It is brass colored, but
is not real brass. Includes shorting switch. This
is mounted on a very nice piece of solid wood that
is tear drop shaped. It works fine and looks really,
really great. $25

Cables for CW keyers and keys:

Cable for paddles
About 3 feet long, and with a 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) stereo
connector on the end, like used by most rigs. $8
As above, but 1/4 inch plug. $8
As above, with 1/4 inch GOLD plated plug. $15

Cable for straight key
About 3 feet long, with a mono 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) phone
plug on it, as used with a straight key. $5
As above, but 1/4 inch plug. $5

Coax connectors and adapters:

Prices are per connector. Several of each are available.
Most are unused.

SPECIAL: Buy 5 and take 10% off.
Buy 10 or more and take 20% off.

UHF Right angle 90 degree elbow connector $3

UHF double female "Barrel connector" $3

UHF "Bulkhead Connector" - Double female, as above, but for
mounting thru a window, siding, etc. about 3 inches long $6

UHF double male connector $3

UHF "T" connector with two female (SO-239) and one male
(PL-259) connection $5

Antenna adapter to fit the BNC connector on the HT
and provide an SO-239 connector that will permit
a PL-259 to be attached. (BNC male to UHF female) $5

UHF Male to BNC female $5

Thanks.
