Bob,
Do all the com port parameters in HRD (speed, parity, etc.) agree with the
parameters for the radio? (57600, 8-N-1, handshake, handshake)
Does the com port number in HRD agree with the port number on the computer?
The RS232 cable should be wired "straight", no pairs transposed.
