Thanks for the response.  I'm aware of the "risk" of buy a fix that may not
:)  I've driven around our neighborhood and have found (via tuning with my
AM car radio @ 1700 kHz) five very noisy power poles within 200 meters of
my antenna.  Thankfully, I've got a very understanding electrical utility
and they are in here today changing out components on the poles and
tightening everything up.  Hopefully, this will do the trick.  If not, it
looks like the 1026 is in my future....:)
