There are discussions ongoing on the Ten-Tec reflectors on both yahoo groups
and contesting.com about the noise blankers of the Triton IV, the Omni A/B/C,
and the Corsairs.
While noise blankers are be designed to address specific noise conditions, and
one design may work better on power line noise where another works better on
ignition noise, etc., how effective are the noise blankers of the different
Ten-Tec receivers? And on what type of noise?

How effective do you find the blankers, and on what specific types of noise? Do
you notice increased IMD products or other problems? How do they compare with
other Ten-Tec models? Are the current rigs better than the old analogue rigs on
reducing or eliminating noise?
