Well, I didn't know this would be such a heated topic. Not sure if I've
been called
stupid for bringing it up or if this is the typical way it goes. ;>)
I did read the manual, read it from online long before I got the radio,
but at my
age have to work through the manual with the radio itself, taking the most
used controls first, then down to the next level of menus.
I know I'm stepping on another banana peel, since I haven't hooked the VGE
Amp Keyer to the old Clipperton amp yet, but I'm thinking since the end
of character delay on CW can be set up to 100 ms., that it might be enough
delay to hold the relay between characters with the old amp. I'll
try it later tonight.
Otherwise, the Clipperton will be phone only.
