[TenTec] ROCKER POWER SWITCH FOR PARAGON II AND 961 PS

I have spent several hours looking for a replacement power  switch for my 
PARAGON II and 961 PS. it appears the switch is a 610-620   Series

What is curious is this is rated :
---MECHANICAL LIFE 100K CYCLES
---ELECTRICAL LIFE 50K CYCLES
 
I am lucky to get a small percentage of its  rating.
 
Very little in the ARCHIVES on this subject so am I the only  one having  
high failure rate with the rocker power switch? I am replacing  them every 
other year.
