I am not a cable expert, but I did own a T-T OMNI VI+. I no longer own it or
have the manual. I do remember building my own cable.

This should help:

For the ultimate authority on this talk to Paul Clinton at T-T.

Subject: [TenTec] 'serial' cable for OmniVI/VI+

At one time, I had the interface cable for my OmniVIs. It apparently is
lost in
a shack reorg. Going back to my old manual, I have comments to the effect
that the schematic/sketch is in error and that the connections are 2-3 and
3-2
rather than straight through. This is all familiar to me. There is also a
jumper
between two terminals on the 9-pin end.

My question for the cable experts is this: is there a stock cable out there
that
works with the OmniVI or do I need to manufacture one?

NO guesses, please. I need the real story...
