So, what about Volta, Ohm, Faraday, Maxwell, Henry and all the other scientists. Without many of them we would still be in the dark ages. Just my opinion.

I think it's time to kick ole Hertz where it hurts and return to kc and mc. My radiodoesn't really care, but the freqs we use should be know for something other thansome guy we never knew.

See you on 7.256 mc

Amusing observation on the kc/s -> Hz terminological change: Some sharp
fellow, and I forget who and where it was published, suggested naming
the unit for Charles Proteus Steinmetz instead of Heinrich Hertz. Pretty
clever, I thought!

Rick,

I was of course just messin' with you. I know you use dual (separate) core
4:1 current baluns (and for a good reason).

The whole Hz and cps discussion has seemed silly to me. And yes, I agree
with you: it's 73 - Best Regards - and not 73's - Best Regards's (or would
that be Best Regardses'?

Again :-)

Most of my dual-core baluns are built with the cores side by side.
However I don't think you were fishing for a serious answer here Marsh.
Maybe it's just late, but somehow I didn't understand that question.

Rick,

Yes, but is your 4:1 current balun stacked or dual cores? :-)

73 doesn't own anything, so why the apostrophe?
And when I say goodbye to some, I don't say goodbyes.
