Yes Tony there are 2 batts in the box. It is a button battery, I think it is a
3025. Seems to me that it is on the tuner board, but not sure been awhile. If
you have the covers off it is easy to see.

Are you saying that there are two (2) batteries in the Orion-II? I was not
aware of this. Please enlighten me. I only know of the Memory battery
module, the square Yellow one.

For the few bucks it costs, change it and the button battery as well. I did
mine at 10 yrs.

Received a great Orion II couple of days ago….any way to tell the date of
the little memory battery, so as can determine when it was replaced?
Previous owners have no information.
