It’s very possible the PA transistors won’t be down for lunch.
I’d email them and find out part status before I’d get a RMA from them.
Also, email or call RF Parts. They may have them or know of a sub to use.
Do you have anyway of monitor current from the power supply? High current and
low RF is almost always a case of fubar transistors.
Without looking at the radio, it’s hard to say if the drivers are bad or not.
I’d bet they are okay.
and….
why would a big government contract have any bearing on repair turnaround time?
Just wondering out loud.
