Hi SteveOk injected signal into con 32, no difference to sensitivityAs for why 
r25 burnt out I can't answer that but it was definitely cooked.I have spoken to 
the ex owner of the radio and he states that he was using it thru' a tuner when 
it went wrong and he smelled smoke, the burnt components!That was why I changed 
the sensing diodes in case they had been damaged.Snowy G0HZE

PS - not sure why R25would burn out - it doesn't carry any DC current 
according to the schematic.
