I have an OmniVI+ that shuts down.
So far it has happened in the rcv mode only.
It may run for several days without doing this, or several hours. No set
time.
When it does this, the display and clock still are on, but you can not
change bands or anything else.Nothing else works. It also has a tone coming
out of the speaker that sounds like someone on your freq with a strong
carrier.
If you turn it off for a while it will return to normal and act like
nothing ever happened.
I am sure it is heat related but do not know where to look.
Any Ideas?
