[TenTec] FT8 setup with Omni 7

Has anyone setup an Omni 7 with FT8.  My ham friend, KA5NSH has an Omni 7 and 
is using a SignaLink with correct cable to the accessory socket and cannot get 
the software to key the transmitter.  The software is receiving and decoding OK 
and he set the software setup for the Omni 7.
