Yeah, I solved it 2 minutes after posting. TecTec does not think how I think
(after 90 minutes of snatching out what few hairs I have left).
The main Rx/Tx cannot be split with main Rx on Ant 1 and transmit on Ant 2,
(along with the second receiver)..I'm seeing a new rig with identical receivers
in the not distant future and independent selection of transmit antenna.
My FT1000 Mk-V spoiled me. If it had a waterfall with touch assignment for
frequency, it would still be my #1 rig.

Has a fresh master battery and hard reset. Works perfect except I cannot get
it to transmit on Ant 2 no matter what I do. I have read the manual until my
eyes water. Gone through every line item in the menus Is this a firmware
upgrade issue or am I just dense :)
