Not so lucky tonight in the Southwest. I listened from 2305 to 0000Z
and nothing. I hope this "common darkness" stuff isn't right, or else
us W5's in Texas are doomed to hear static.

Just worked VK0IR on 160M at 2222z. Xmit freq 1.822Khz qsx on 1825.8Khz. I
also heard W1JZ in MAss make a qso just after I finished mine.
Sigs were a solid 559-569 out of the Southeast quadrant on the 4 square
array. I figure a beam heading with a BEV at about 130 degrees will work
best for these guys.
