Finally heard VK0IR in N.C. first time on 80 and 160 meters Sunday aft
Jan. 20. Worked him fairly easily (S.E.) on 80M (3507) at 2250Z. Then
found the pile up centered on 1831 on 160M (1826.5). After the S.E. QSO
on 80M, spent too much time listening S.E. on 160M. Finally, after
discovering he was only coming from the N.E. spent more valuable
time trying to find where he was listening in the mob of continuous
callers. Thank goodness they only work split! I will be better organized
today. Hi! The 160M N.E. peak was a good 559 at about their sunrise at
2310-15Z.
