Mike says his MFJ tuner is history. He is having his 160 sloper
re-erected and will run it as a resonant antenna. Likewise, the 80m loop
is coming down, because the two cannot exist simultaneously. He is
putting up an HF2V for 80 and 40. All antennas will be resonant.
This is all being done this weekend.
Recent contributions to the ANC-4 fund from AJ6T, KC7V, W4ZV and K7ZV
have covered most of the remaining ANC-4 costs. May Marconi smile on you
and upon all contributors to date.
Let's hope propagation to Southeast Asis--which has been dismal of
late--will improve. The K index is oscillating around--was down to zero,
now back up to 2--but the A index has remained single-digit.
