I found my old Slidell Radio/WNU brochure today and had another look at
it. Inside has a photo of several rx loops. they are double loops and
appear to be all the same size. The caption reads: Part of Slidell
Radio's sophisticated new Hermes antenna system...
I'll try to get in touch with the engineer in charge to find out more
about these receiving loops.
